The foundational holiday in Judaism is Passover, which celebrates the Exodus from Egypt. The Passover Seder, developed from the events of the Exodus, remains a widely celebrated holiday among Jews, and even some Christians, today. But how did Easter develop from Passover? Christians adopted many of the same events and symbols, reinterpreting them in a new way and applying them to the story of Jesus.
