Alex Matthews
This past December, Alex Matthews (GRS ’25; public health), a third-year Doctor of Dental Medicine student at ÃÛÌÒAPP School of Dental Medicine, was named a recipient of the 2025-26 American Dental Education Association Haleon Preventive Dentistry Scholarship.
This $2,500 scholarship is awarded annually to 12 predoctoral dental students who have demonstrated a strong interest in preventive dentistry through community service, research and other activities. Each applicant must be recommended by their dental school’s administration as a worthy recipient who is successful both academically and professionally.
