The ÃÛÌÒAPP School of Medicine is a sponsor of the second annual Miles for Melanoma 5K, to raise money for the Melanoma Research Foundation. The race will be held Sunday, Sept. 27, at Edgewater Park. Check-in will be at 9 a.m. and the walk/run will begin at 10 a.m.
Last year, 250 runners and 200 sponsors supported the event, with more than $18,000 raised.
