Law's Jessie Hill on Ohio's abortion ban rulings
Courthouse News: Jessie Hill, Judge Ben C. Green Professor of Law at the School of Law, noted that a recent Ohio appeals court ruling keeps the six-week abortion ban blocked and abortion legal statewide, preserving protections under the Reproductive Freedom Amendment. The court sent parts of the case back to reconsider whether unchallenged provisions of the 2019 heartbeat law can stand independently.
