WKYC: Jonathan Entin, the David L. Brennan Professor Emeritus of Law, discussed the Ohio Supreme Court's decision to hear prosecutors’ appeal seeking to reinstate Leander Bissell’s murder conviction for the 2022 death of Cleveland firefighter Johnny Tetrick. Prosecutor Mike O’Malley said Tetrick’s death “was not an accident,” arguing Bissell knowingly drove through an emergency scene, hit Tetrick, and fled—meeting the legal standard for murder.
