Alongside her brother Robbie, Carol was a thoughtful supporter of our child policy work at the Schubert Center, including endowing the transformative student experience at the heart of the Mann Child Policy Externship and the Experiential Learning in Child Public Policy course.
These programs support hands-on undergraduate policy opportunities, including community-based work and immersive learning in Washington, D.C. Because of Carol’s generosity, our students gain real-world experience working directly with professionals who develop and advocate for policies that impact the lives of children and families, and communities benefit from their insight and dedication.
We are profoundly thankful for Carol, for her brother Robbie, and for the enduring impact of the Mann family’s generosity. Carol’s compassion and belief in experiential education live on at the Schubert Center and in the many lives touched through this important work.
