Speaker Bio
Sandra B. Turner is a highly respected coach and consultant with more than 40 years of experience designing and implementing programs that help organizations leverage diverse talent and life experience. She works across all organizational levels to strengthen resilience, highperformance teaming, and effective communication, and has developed protocols addressing the mental health impacts of traumatic stress, including racial injustice and political discord. Her social work training is perfectly suited to her role in the workplace.
Her experience spans manufacturing, financial services, education, oil and gas, health care, and transportation industries, serving corporate, nonprofit, and government clients. She retired from EY (Ernst & Young) as Director, EY Assist, Americas Talent Team.
Sandra has maintained a 40year relationship with our school as adjunct faculty, Mandel Fellow Ph.D. student, Visiting Committee member and former chair (2012-prsent),, Scholarship Campaign Committee member (2018–2020), and Dean’s Search Committee member (2021).
Sandra is deeply engaged in her community, having served four elected terms on the Village of Gates Mills Council, including as Council President Pro Tem. She also serves on the boards of the Gates Mills Land Conservancy and Chagrin River Watershed Partners. She has held leadership positions in the Employee Assistance Professionals Association, and the Employee Assistance Roundtable.
Sandra and her husband Jeff have been members of St. Dominic Parish since 2007. Sandra participated in parish mission trips to El Salvador supporting medical and economic initiatives.
