If you are a student at CWRU, there are many great ways to get connected and involved in one of CWRU’s sustainability-related student groups. Here are some groups to get you started in reducing your impact:
Engineers without Borders
Engineers without Borders is a student organization offering opportunities to students from the major of engineering to connect with undeserved communities on a local and global scale, in order to provide these communities with sustainable solutions. These engineers work in areas of clean water, and clean energy, and work together to promote socially and environmentally sustainable communities. Food Recovery Network
CWRU's chapter of the endeavors to connect left over food to those without food in the greater Cleveland area. Founded in 2014, the group regularly picks up day old baked items from Einstein's Bagels on campus and drop offs at West Side Catholic Center, which serves meals to those in need. Student Sustainability Council
The Student Sustainability Council (SSC) is open to all undergraduate students, and provides an opportunity for students to collaborate with one another on ongoing campus projects, while innovating and creating entirely new ways to be sustainable.
