Merit Scholarships

Merit scholarships at Weatherhead recognize excellence demonstrated at your stage of professional development.

For students transitioning directly from undergraduate study or in the early stages of their careers, this may include strong academic performance, intellectual curiosity and initiative demonstrated through internships, research or leadership experiences.

For experienced professionals, merit often reflects demonstrated leadership, career progression, organizational impact and a clear commitment to advancing responsibly in complex environments.

Many merit scholarships are supported in part by endowed funds established by alumni and partners of the school. These endowed awards reflect the confidence of the Weatherhead community in the students selected and strengthen the school’s ability to invest in exceptional talent year after year.

All applicants are automatically considered for merit-based scholarships through the standard admissions review process. No separate application is required. If selected, your scholarship award will be included in your admission offer.
